Out, for round one…

I’ve been working diligently on getting myself in shape for the first race of the season. However I’ve also been working with my physical therapist on an issue with my shoulder that has been going on for a while now. I used a couple of races early in January to test the waters on how my shoulder has been coming along. Unfortunately, I have not been released for 2hrs of full on combat at this point; especially not at the level that I want to compete. So for now I am sitting this one out and will continue with my training and physical therapy and see where I stand after a couple more weeks. I have confidence in my physician and physical therapist and trust they want me back on the track as soon as possible. I have spoke with a lot of my sponsors and am happy to hear that they agree that this is in my best interest. I am truly bummed about missing this race, as I have not missed a WORCS race since 04′ and this series has definitely played a big part in my life. Not to fret though, I’ll be back and stronger than ever!
As all ways thanks for the support and I look forward to seeing everyone at the races!
